How we handle heavy and awkward pieces

Upright and baby grand pianos

Flat rate after photos. We measure doorways and stair turns first, cover the keys and pedals, and send at least 3 movers for an upright and 4 for a baby grand.

Gun safes

The safe has to be empty of firearms before we touch it. We use a stair-climbing dolly rated for the weight and protect walls on tight turns.

Hot tubs

Your electrician disconnects the power before moving day. We check the frame and gate clearance, and send at least 4 movers.

Gym equipment

Plates off and racks taken apart where we can, then put back together at the new place. Treadmills are folded if they fold.

Fridges and freezers

Moved upright whenever possible. If one has to lie on its side, let it stand upright for the same amount of time before you plug it in.

Aquariums

Fully drained before we touch them. Fish and other animals travel with you.

Tool chests

Drawers emptied first, then strapped shut on a dolly so nothing slides open on the stairs.

What we refer out

Pool tables, full-size grand pianos and anything that needs a certified rigger. We'll point you to a specialist.

How it works

  1. Send photos

The item, the route out and the route in, plus the weight if you know it.

  2. Get a flat price

We plan the crew and equipment and quote one price.

  3. Moving day

Wrapped, strapped and moved on the planned route.

  4. Placed where you want it

Set down in its new spot, ready to use.

"Needed a heavy gun safe moved from Sherwood Park to Edmonton. These guys knew exactly what they were doing. Had all the right equipment and got it done without a scratch."

Specialty item moving questions

Still have a question? Call or text (780) 938-7831, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

What won't you move?

Pool tables and full-size grand pianos. They need a specialist crew, and we're happy to point you to one.

Why do you need photos?

Weight, stairs, tight corners and doorways decide the crew and equipment. Photos let us quote a firm price instead of a guess.

What if an item is risky to move?

If the crew sees a real risk, like a cracked frame or a doorway it may not fit through, we'll tell you before we touch it. If you still want to go ahead, we'll ask you to sign a short waiver for that one item.

Do tool chests have to be empty?

Yes. Moving a loaded tool chest can damage the chest, the floors and the walls, so drawers need to be emptied first.
