How it works
Get your estimate
Tell us what you're moving and where. You get a time range and a written maximum.
Book your date
No deposit for jobs under $450. Above that it's $50 to $300 depending on the size of the job, and it comes off your final bill.
Moving day
We wrap, load, drive and unload. The clock runs from the first item loaded to the last item off the truck.
Settle in
Furniture goes where you want it. Walk through with the crew lead, then pay before we leave.

How much does a local move cost?
$150 an hour for 2 movers and a truck, $200 for 3 movers. Billing starts when we start loading and stops when the truck is empty, in 15-minute increments, with a 3-hour minimum. GST is added to the total.
Do you do small moves and single items?
Yes. A few pieces of furniture, a storage unit or one big item across town are all welcome. We'll match the crew to the job, and the 3-hour minimum applies.
Is it cheaper than renting a truck?
Often, once you add it all up. A rental truck charges a daily rate plus mileage, fuel and insurance, and you still do the lifting. Our hourly rate already includes the truck, fuel, the crew and the gear. Send us your addresses and we'll give you a written maximum to compare.
Can I get an estimate before I book?
Yes. Send us both addresses, what you're moving and photos of anything big. We'll reply with a crew size, a time range and a written maximum, and we stop and ask before going past it.
Can you move large or heavy furniture?
Yes. Couches, beds, dressers, tables and appliances are everyday work. Send a photo of anything unusually large or heavy so the crew comes prepared.
What should I tell you about my building?
Stairs, elevators, how far the truck can park from the door, loading docks and any move-in rules or booking times. Access is the biggest thing that changes how long a move takes.
Do you move in winter?
Yes, all year. We protect floors from snow and slush. If roads or conditions become unsafe, we'll call you to talk about timing.
How far ahead should I book?
Weekends and the end of the month fill up first, so book those early. For short-notice moves, call or text anyway. We can often fit you in.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry $2,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance. Your belongings get standard basic moving coverage of $0.60 per pound per item at no extra cost.
