Furniture, boxes, appliances, garage and shed contents all add up. A full list or photos gets you the tightest estimate.
Crew size
More movers cost more per hour but finish sooner. We recommend the crew that keeps your total lowest.
Access at both ends
Stairs, elevators and how far the truck parks from the door have the biggest effect on time.
How ready you are
Boxes packed and sealed, beds stripped and appliances disconnected means the clock is spent moving.
Truck size
We bring a 15, 20 or 26 ft truck sized to fit your move in one trip.
Stops
Extra pickups or drop-offs are billed at the hourly rate. The drive itself, within 50 km of Edmonton, isn't extra.
Deposits and fees
Small jobs need no deposit. Larger ones take a small deposit that comes off your final bill, refunded in full if you cancel or reschedule 48 hours or more ahead.

Do you charge by the hour?
Yes, for local moves. You pay the hourly rate for your crew size, with the truck, fuel and gear included. Moves more than 50 km from Edmonton get one flat price instead.
When does the clock start and stop?
It starts when we start loading and stops when the truck is empty, in 15-minute increments. Breaks we take aren't on your bill.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, 3 hours at your crew's hourly rate.
Should I book 2 movers or 3?
Two movers suit most apartments and smaller homes. Three usually finish a full house fast enough to cost less overall. We'll recommend one when we quote.
Is my estimate a fixed price?
No, it's an estimate based on actual time. But it comes with a written ceiling: if the move is going to go past it, the crew stops and asks you before continuing.
Do you charge for stairs or travel time?
No. There are no stair, elevator, long-carry or travel-time fees within 50 km of Edmonton.
Can I lower my cost by helping?
Yes. Have everything packed and sealed, take apart anything you can, book your elevator and clear a parking spot close to the door.
What if I have less or more than I told you?
With less, you pay for less time. With much more, we'll agree on a new estimate with you before carrying on.
