We wrap, load, drive and unload. The clock runs from the first item loaded to the last item off the truck.

Is there a minimum charge?
Yes, 3 hours at your crew's hourly rate. Most apartment moves take about that long, and most house moves take longer.
Do you charge for travel time or stairs?
No. Inside our service area there are no travel, stair, long-carry or heavy-item fees. You pay the hourly rate for the time we spend loading, driving and unloading.
What if my move takes longer than the estimate?
Your written estimate has a maximum. If the move is going to pass it, the crew stops and asks you before continuing. You can approve on the spot or by text.
How does the deposit work?
There's no deposit for jobs under $450. Above that it's $50 to $300 depending on the size of the job, and it comes off your final bill. Cancel 48 hours or more ahead and it's refunded in full or moved to a new date.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry $2,000,000 in commercial general liability insurance, which covers damage to the homes at both ends of your move. Your belongings get standard basic moving coverage of $0.60 per pound per item at no extra cost, and your home or tenant insurance may cover them for more. We can send a copy of our insurance certificate on request.
Is there anything you won't move?
We don't move propane tanks, gasoline, paint or other hazardous items, perishable food, or pool tables and grand pianos, which need a specialist. Ask about anything heavy or unusual when you call and we'll tell you straight.
